I found a page which presents "The oldest song in the world". Written in Hurrian language, the song was thought to be created approximately 1400 B.C. in ancient Ugarit near the Syrian coast. They say that it is a hymn to Nikal, wife of the moon god Sin. The song is known to us thanks to the work of Prof. Anne Kilmer, Assyriology, University of California and curator of Lowie Museum of Anthropology.Friday, April 24, 2009
